Awards season is no mockery topic for the Hollywood elite. Celebrities start working on their red carpet bodies months in advance prior to any award show. The initial show of the season is this years 2011 Emmy Awards.

About two months in advance, celebrities get with trainers, doctors, nutritionists and more, to help them get into tip top form so they can look magnificent in those trendy gowns and tuxedos.

Eating less and working out extra is the first and most central step to peeling away the pounds. Celebrities either hire trainers to motivate them to workout several times a week or they step up their workouts on their own with workouts such as Barry’s Bootcamp. Cardio is generally increased tremendously to lose as much access weight as possible. Eating fewer carbs and banning sugar completely are also a rule of thumb for looking amazing.Spa treatments are another way that celebrities drop weight fast. This includes Suddenly Slimmer’s Detoxifying body wraps which helps remove excess toxins and inches in a matter of minutes. Another treatment is called a full body detox treatment which flushes out the toxins and waste that line the intestines and colon, allowing the individual to drop up to 10 to 30 pounds.

Many celebrities will stop at nothing to look like perfection during awards season and therefore, it is not unusual for them to make a stop at a medspa for Photofacial treatments to help even out skin tone; Botox, Fillers, Medical Peels, Laser Volume Reduction & Body Contouring Treatment.

Then there are the last few days preparation that celebrities go through in order to get Red Carpet Ready!

Five days before the event: Time to defuzz. Scheduling your waxing and brow shaping appointments now will ensure that any redness or pigmentation will calm down before the big day. If you prefer to tweeze your own brows, use a professional brow shaping kit as a guide. Try to just clean up the brows so you maintain a natural feel so you look well groomed but not overdone. Be sure to keep your arch very natural.

Three days to go: A-listers check-in at the spa for a head-to-toe body exfoliation and wrap. The exfoliation will remove any dull, dead skin cells to reveal a brighter skin tone, while the wrap will leave skin super soft and smooth. Book an appointment for yourself, or do both steps in your shower: Buff a gritty body scrub (for a truly luxurious spa-like experience, we love Body Bliss Body Affirmation Detoxifying Sea Salt Polish A detoxifying salt polish to stimulate lymph drainage and cleanse the aura giving a sensation of complete renewal, both physical and energetic. – 10 oz $29.95 ) all over your skin, then switch to a gentler scrub for your face (tryRhonda Allison Beta Green Scrub 4.0 oz). Rinse, pat skin dry with a towel, then immediately apply body cream and face moisturizer.

The day before: Stars will log some serious hours at the salon getting a manicure and pedicure along with a hair color and cut. No time for the salon? File and paint your own nails (a green-gold shade, like CHANEL, a gleamy green-gold, its going to be falls hot trend).

Wash hair, then apply an at-home clear shine treatment (like Moroccan oil).

With just a few hours left: Put large velcro rollers in your hair, then heat them with a blow dryer to give your hair some extra oomph. Pluck any stray brow hairs that have popped up, apply your makeup (for an extra-glam look, be sure to put mascara on both top and bottom lashes and swipe on a red lipstick or gloss, like Luzivone Damaceno de Gloss Plum Diva ), spray your favorite dress-up scent, and you’re out the door!
