What is homeopathy?
Homeopathy (from Greek homeo – similar, pathos – suffering) is a safe and effective system of natural holistic medicine used by millions of people worldwide for more than 200 years. It promotes self-healing and restores natural balance of the body.
Homeopathy is based on the Law of Similars “Like cures Like” – which means, that if substance can cause symptoms of the disease in a healthy person, then it can cure a sick person, suffering from similar symptoms. The knowledge that Like can be treated with Like can be traced back to Hypocrites times and it was developed into the usable practice by Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843).

A homeopathic practitioner takes detailed health history. Numerous questions are asked about the primary complaint as well as more general health issues. Some of the are: how and when did it start and developed, how it makes you feel physically, mentally and emotionally, is there anything what makes it better or worse, etc. After the visit practitioner often studies the information in order to find the best remedy for your case. The first follow up visit is generally scheduled 6-8 weeks later and takes about 30-40 min.
