#1 Restylane Provider in Phoenix

What is Restylane?

The Restylane family was the first cosmetic dermal filler made of Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a non-animal-based hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a natural substance that already exists in the human body. The hyaluronic acid in Restylane is biodegradable and fully biocompatible with human hyaluronic acid. Restylane has a variety of products that vary in HA molecule size to specially treat different areas of the face. This dermal filler can be used to add volume and fullness to the face, as well as to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. These folds include:

  • Lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds or laugh lines)
  • Lines just below the nose and above the upper lip (smokers or kissers lines)
  • Corners of the mouth (sad face lines)
  • Marionette lines (the area that extends downward from the corners of the mouth to the jawline)

Benefits Of Restylane

Restylane can be used to improve the following:

  • Fullness in the center – Lips look most beautiful when the fullness in the center tapers off at the corners.
  • Defined “cupids bow” – The “Cupid’s Bow” of the upper lip is most attractive when it is well defined and when the two sides look the same.
  • Projection on profile – When viewed from the side, the upper lip should project slightly beyond the lower lip.
  • Side-to-side symmetry – From one side to the other, lips should be symmetrical for a pleasing appearance.
  • Lips to eyes relationship – A line drawn upward from the corner of the lips should hit the midpoint of the pupil of the eye.

Candidates for Restylane Cosmetic Fillers

Look at a photo of yourself from 5-10 years ago, does it seem to appear that you have lost volume in your face? As we age and our faces lose volume; this is noticeable by the hollowing of the cheeks and deeper smile lines (nasolabial folds). This results in sagging skin, more prominent wrinkles, and a reduction in volume. Restylane products are a great way to regain more definition in our face without surgery. This results in a more natural-looking, youthful appearance.

Restylane Lyft

Restylane Lyft is the first FDA-approved filler indicated to provide volume to cheeks and to correct and smooth smile lines (nasolabial folds). Restylane Lyft, is an injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) gel used to correct volume loss and treat wrinkles in the face. Hyaluronic acid or HA, is a naturally occurring substance found in most living organisms. It plays an important part in the human skin: providing it with elasticity, volume, and the ability to transfer nutrients between cells.

Restylane Lyft Results

As we age our body produces less hyaluronic acid contributing to a loss of facial volume. This results in wrinkles, folds, and a dehydrated look that can make you appear tired and older than your years. This volume loss in the lower face can be replaced with dermal fillers such as Restylane Lyft. The HA’s used in Restylane Lyft are modified to ensure a longer-lasting result. Restylane lasts anywhere from 9-12 months depending on how quickly you metabolize the product.

Restylane Silk

Dr. Jeffers is proud to be injecting Restylane Silk in patients in Phoenix, AZ. “Silk” is the FIRST FDA approved filler for subtle lip enhancement and the smoothing for fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth for patients. Restylane Silk’s unique particle gel formula, along with an ultrafine needle designed for improved accuracy, helps give his patients softer and more precise results for a natural-looking smile.

Restylane Silk Treatment Areas

The best areas to use Restylane Silk is the lips and the lines around the mouth, like other areas of the face, show signs of aging as you get older. This often results in lip thinning, lost shape and an increase in vertical lines above the lip. Restylane Silk is designed specifically to provide natural-looking results in these particular areas by using smaller, smoother particles than those used in other Restylane products.

Restylane Silk Results

The Restylane Silk injectable filler lasts up to six months or longer depending on your metabolism of the product. 98% of patients reported a visible improvement in lip fullness 14 days after injection. 76% of patients still had lip improvement six months following injection.

Restylane FAQs

How Long Does The Restylane Treatment Take?

Our Physician and Nurses generally require 15-30 minutes for a treatment depending on how many areas need to be contoured.

Do Restylane Injections Hurt?

Most patients find the discomfort to be like a slight bee sting for about 5-10 seconds. The doctors and nurses at Suddenly Slimmer Med Spa use Restylane that has a built-in local anesthetic (lidocaine), which helps reduce discomfort during and after the treatment. Topical anesthesia creams can be applied to the skin prior to injection as well. You can also request to add Pro-Nox Nitrous Oxide System for Pain and Anxiety Relief.

What Can I Expect After My Cosmetic Injections?

After your injection, you should expect a little bit of swelling and slight redness, which seems to resolve/go away in a matter of hours. Avoiding heavy exercise, salty foods, alcohol, and sleeping face down will help avoid excessive swelling.

Can Restylane Be Injected At The Same Time As Botox Or Related Neuromodulator?

Yes! Restylane in combination with Botox, which is not always necessary, can lead to fantastic results. Schedule an injectable consultation to see what is recommend for you.

Will Restylane Interfere With My Facial Expressions And Give Me A Frozen Appearance?

No, Restylane does not interfere with muscle contraction. It will smooth out wrinkles while allowing your muscles to interact normally.
